MJ is still busy at work with the cards. Here is the latest that she just sent over tonight:

Tish is working as fast as she can, but she can't write the guidebook until the art is finished. We don't have the ETA from MJ yet, but will let everyone know when we do. We're almost finished with the first set and then we're on to the bonus cards.

They are all looking great though. 

MJ's talent is just incredible and I can't wait to see what else she has in store. Please stay tuned for the next update in November!

Can you believe it's August? We wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for their wonderful support. Our surveys went out weeks ago and we still have 190+ folks who have yet to respond. If you haven't done your survey yet, please do so: https://dhtarot.backerkit.com/ You can also add additional items to your order in that survey.  You can also make changes to your address at this time as we haven't locked them yet. 

One quick thing that I wanted to make everyone aware of is that I originally contracted with our author and artist for 78 cards. Now, our deck is up  to 130 cards (140 with the booster set). Since the size of the deck is almost double what they  thought, it will take extra time for MJ to design and color the additional cards and for Tish to write the entries for them in the guidebook (which  she can't do until MJ finishes).

MJ has had a couple of delays, but she is diligently working on the cards and hopes to deliver them no later than the first week of September.

Once MJ finishes, the art Tish will need another 8 weeks-12 weeks to finish writing them up for the guidebook and our designer will need  two to three weeks to design the book once she has all the art and text.

That means it will be the first of 2024 before the decks ship. We're hoping  desperately to get the design and final cards done sooner as we really want them in everyone's hands before the New Year and we will do  everything possible to get them into your hands ASAP.

Sorry for the boo-boos. First, it was the July update and not the June one. And I somehow messed up the number of cards. 

The final card total with the stretch goals is 130 cards. 140 with the booster pack add-on. Please forgive me for being human. Numbers have never been my friend (which is why I'm a writer and not an accountant).

Kickstarter has released the funds, so I've been in the process of paying our wonderful artist and author of our guidebook.

One quick thing that I wanted to make everyone aware of is that I contracted with our author and artist for 78 cards. Now, our deck is up to 150 cards. Since the size of the deck is almost double what they thought, it will take extra time for MJ to design and color another 72 cards and for Tish to write the entries for them in the guidebook (which she can't do until MJ finishes the cards).

The good news is that the deck is MUCH larger than we first anticipated and every backer will get a deck that has 140 cards (with the add-on booster, it's 150 in total). The bad news is that it will delay shipping. MJ has said that she needs until the first week of September to finish the additional cards. Tish will need another 8 weeks to finish writing them up for the guidebook and our designer will need two to three weeks to design the book once she has all the art and text.

BackerKit surveys are coming!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your  BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as  possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey.  When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to  respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide  shipping information, and purchase add-on items  if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will  be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your  responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final  counts.

Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping  fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have  the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers  for shipping a month or two before fulfillment when  we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers’ rewards.  We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we  charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you informed  all along the way!

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return  to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting  your survey link under “Lost your survey?” on our BackerKit project page  at https://dhtarot.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter  account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for  your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer  to use, please contact support at https://dhtarot.backerkit.com/faq.

After surveys are sent, and you did not receive the email, and you  Signed in with Apple through Kickstarter, your email address might be a  private relay email address. We can help locate your survey and update  your email address, please message us through  Kickstarter with your Backer ID # found on your Kickstarter  confirmation. You can learn more about your email hiding for your Apple  ID here.
