Why is there no shipping cost and when will I be notifed to pay it?

Shipping and handling is NOT included with your original pledge or order total. It will be charged closer to actual shipping time. You will receive an update and/or email at that time for an additional payment to cover shipping. This will allow us time to figure out a lower shipping charge than collecting it now. You will be required to pay the shipping charge before your order will be mailed.

Who pays VAT and IOSS?

Backers are responsible for VAT, IOSS or any other taxes/fees unique to their country.

What happens if I do not pay the shipping and handling?

Anyone who does not fill out the survey before shipping begins or does not pay the shipping and handling charge when notified, will forfeit all rewards. The funds paid into the project will be considered donations.

When will my card be charged?

If you did not pay through the original Kickstarter campaign, your card for any BackerKit pre-order will be charged within 1-5 days after placing your pre-order. Shipping and handling will be charged at a later date and you will be notified by an update and/or email to pay that additional charge.

Can I cancel my pledge and receive a refund.

No refunds will be made after the original charge is placed. If a hard ship arises contact us directly at [email protected] with your request. If a refund is allowed there will be a 25% processing fee removed from the refunded amount.

I need to update my mailing address.

Email us directly at [email protected]. Include your name, old address for verification and new address to update on your order. We will make the change everywhere needed and send you a confirmation it has been done.

I have a problem with my order.

• Damaged or missing Items. You will have 7 days after your package arrives to report to [email protected] if you need replacement items or are missing items in your order. Include pictures of the items and the shipping container showing the damage.

• Lost Packages. For packages that go missing, you will have 45 days after the item is sent (60 for international packages) to report it to us.

• Misdelivered Packages. You are responsible for contacting your local carrier and Post Office to follow up on a package marked delivered. You need to notify us the day after the package is marked delivered and let us know what your local Post Office is doing to find it.

USPS says my package was delivered. I don't see it. What do I do?

We send you an email with a USPS tracking number so you can keep a watch out for your packages. When the USPS marks a package delivered and you do not have it, you need to contact your actual postal carrier and your local post office the very next day so they can see if the driver remembers where they left it and recover it. You can get your local post office to reimburse you directly for a package they mis-delivered and cannot get back. We understand your frustration, but monitoring your deliveries is your responsibility. We are a very small company and unlike Amazon or Walmart we cannot afford to reship packages that have been “delivered”, we are also not responsible for “porch pirates” in your area. Be sure you provide us with a secure address for mailing your items.

When will I get my cards?

Cards, artwork and guide book are still in writing and printing stages. We hope to begin shipping in November 2024. If anything changes we will keep posting updates.

Yes. All decks (not the booster pack) will come inside a magnetic closure box.

Will the option for bigger boxes and bags be added on later?

No. If we’re able to make the deal, they will replace the bags & boxes that are currently in the campaign at no additional cost. Sherri wanted to do it for everyone and that seems the easiest way. So those who have already bought boxes & books, you would be automatically upgraded to the larger size.

Current Estimated Shipping Date: November 2024

Our earliest estimated shipping date is in November 2024. Unforeseen production delays may extend this time. You will be contacted again before this date to pay for shipping and handling for your pre-order. If S&H is not paid, then your original payment will be considered a donation to the project. There are no refunds after a charge is completed.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

We are planning to begin shipping in November 2023, but that could be delayed by unforeseen production delays.
You will be made aware of any changes through updates on Kickstarter, Facebook, YouTube and McQueen Newsletter updates.

• We will be charging shipping costs closer to actual fulfillment. You are not being charged for it now. You are responsible for VAT, IOSS or any other taxes or fees unique to your country. You will not receive your items if you do not pay these charges, and you will not receive a refund for your original pledge if you choose not to pay these costs.

Backers are responsible for providing proper and up to date email and mailing addresses on Kickstarter/Backerkit, and for reading updates as we post them to inform of any new information or deadlines. Tracking info will be sent to the provided email address and it is the backer's responsibility to follow up on their packages should problems arise.

Backing this project is a pledge of support to the project itself, it is not the purchasing of items. We will do everything possible on our end to deliver all pledged items, but you are responsible to make sure we have all your up to date and correct contact information to fulfill the pledge. By pledging you are recognizing this and agreeing to it.
